Hello all, I was hoping someone out there would have source to HP R4 xserver. I have the binary, but I don't remember where I got it. I would like to get source to change the font paths. Also, since we support X across various platforms, up until know we've had to run MIT X on everything (because we had source, and we could make it work on other things.) But the HP server uses the starbase stuff, which we need to use interleaf. I fixed the binary version of the xserver by editting it and convincing it to look in the correct places. But as you would imagine this isn't a proper fix by anymeans. If anyone knows where the source might be I'd appreciate it. And if it's illegal to edit the binary, you never heard it from me. We do not release the source to our product servers. We make the binary versions available via anonymous ftp from hpcvaaz.cv.hp.com (15.255.72.15). > I fixed the binary version of the xserver by editting it and > convincing it to look in the correct places. Is there something specific that you cannot achieve through these mechanisms? Harry Phinney harry@hp-pcd.cv.hp.com
