[net.wanted] machine-based human language translation systems

      I am interested in knowing what work is being done in the
translation of human languages by computer systems, in particular
between specific language pairs, such as German-to-English, that
is non-trivial (i.e., not simply word-for-word).  Anyone knowing of
work and who is doing it, please reply direct to author..
