I have a question which has been puzzling me... On HP-UX 7.0 (on an 825 at least), sar -v seems to typically show the inode table to be "almost" full. I have seen this on at least two different systems so far. In one case, I tried doubling the inode table size (via a uxgen), and was astounded when sar -v then showed the inode usage to have doubled! I am assuming that this is a bug in sar, however there is always the possibility that I have a mis-understanding of the output of sar -v (:-) I should note that the output of sar -v seems more what I would expect on HP-UX 2.1 and 3.1 ... the problem appears only on 7.0. If anyone could shed any light on this, it would be much appreciated!!
