I have now added the HP-terminals to the distribution package of qterm on lut.fi. As the reply string from those terminals is so very simple it should be farely easy to add more lines when necessary. You can find the string either from your terminal's setup, or now that the qtermtab already has the HP query string, you can simply use % qterm -s to see the reply on your screen. Also, I would finally like to thank the original authors of this package. The revision on lut.fi (with qtermtab and Makefile slightly edited by me) is Craig Bishop's <craig@charlie.oz.au> rewrite of Michael Cooper's program to identify terminals.
