Does anyone know about the new Precision Architecture RISC workstation from Hewlett-Packard. All I can get out of the sales rep as far as performance goes is 50 MIPS and 10 MFLOPS Can anyone confirm these numbers or is this workstation a figment of my imagination :-) If this workstation does exist, when will it be released for general consumption? How does it stack up against the IBM RS6000, and the Silicon Graphics 4D/35? What type of graphics options will be available? OSF/1 or HP-UX?
