[comp.sys.hp] KCL on 800 series

bailey@hp5.mcs.kent.edu (Jeff Bailey) (03/08/91)

Does anyone know if Kyoto Common Lisp (KCL) is available for the series
800 HP-PA machines. This could be a major influence on whether or not
we get a few of the new 700 series machines so I'd be *really* happy
if someone could say "yes" :-)

Thanks,
   Jeff

P.S. - How about GCC and G++ as well?

Dunno about KCL, but IBCL certainly does. IBUKI will be glad to
sell it to you for 800 series based HP-UX systems.

About 3 yrs (!) ago, I worked with Cornell U. which was in progress porting
KCL to S800s. I can't remember the name of who I was working with (George
?), but it was with the Computer admin services area there.

This probably won't help, but who knows.
