I get in this morning (Monday 25th March) and find that all our HP9000 machines (running HP-UX 7.0) are an hour out :-( It's because BST begins on 31st March, but /usr/lib/tztab was configured for the week before :-( Here's the fix for those hundreds of UK sites still scratching their heads... # Greenwich Mean Time, British Summer Time, BST-1 hacked by RKL for 1991 GMT0BST 0 3 25-31 3 1983-1984 0 BST-1 0 3 23-29 3 1985-1990 0 BST-1 0 3 25-31 3 1991 0 BST-1 0 3 23-29 3 1992-2038 0 BST-1 0 1 25-31 10 1983-1985 0 GMT0 0 1 23-29 10 1986-2038 0 GMT0 P.S. There is *NO* formula for this, it's decided by an Act of Parliament. Hence, there's no guarantee that 1992 onwards isn't wrong as well :-( (BST ends on 27th October 1991, BTW). Richard K.
