I was wondering if someone could help me... I have recently received Win3 v3.00a with my Gateway 386/25 and I also have an HP Deskjet printer attached to it. The problem is the following: Whenever I try to print graphics, the printer just sits there, thinks a while (long) and then simply prints garbage. What is going on? As far as I (and my roommate) can tell, everything is setup fine. The printmgr for windows should be okay, also the setup for the printer is good as far as we can tell. I understand MS just modified the deskjet.drv file for win3, so that should be okay as well. Does anyone have an tips/hints? I also try to use Coreldraw v1.21, and it doesn't even think about printing anything recognizable. Simple text it prints fine. WFW v1.0 works fine, it also generates most fonts fine, but the somewhat fancier fonts are garbled as well. We think it has something to do with the graphics mode. Courier, Helvetica etc. those all work fine. I tried straight DOS graphics mode and it worked at least to some extend. But as soon as it gets fancy, the printer screws up majorly. Please send me mail, as I do not have time to read Rn regularly. thanks a hell of lot for all your help already...
