[net.wanted] DEC-20 Files to VAX/UNIX

We need to transfer large numbers of files from a DEC-20 (TOPS-20) system
to VAX/UNIX systems.  We have a -20 version of TAR, but it doesn't work
for files with byte lengths not equal to 7 bits.  Does anyone have any
software or advice that would help us with this?
