Does anyone know what would cause only 1 ftp to work at a time? I am running a HP9000/330 with HP-UX 5.5b. If there is any other outgoing telnet or ftp process going, I cannot successfully get another outgoing ftp going. It connects and logins ok, but gets stuck if you even do a dir. It justs sits there with a 'File Transfer Started' message, but nothing comes back. Another clue is if I just try to do a ftp back to myself. Even with no other telnet or ftp process going, this doesn't work either. It's as if the ftp and ftpd process cannot co-exists at the same time. Could this be releated to some network configuration? I don't have the Network manuals and don't know what there is to configure. SOmebody please help. I've been living with this for months now, and I'd really like to get it working properly.
