[comp.sys.hp] building gcc and g++ on a HP-PA system

lynch@theory.tn.cornell.edu (Tim Lynch) (04/20/91)

I'm about to try building gcc and g++ on an 800 series machine. I'm now
reading over the distribution for version 1.39 of gcc and I don't see
any mention of hp9k8xx; everything refers to the 300 series. Does anyone
have the necessary patches, changes, etc for building gcc and g++ on
an 800 series machine?

Thanks!

Um... That list of "patches" would be quite substantial as the 300s are
Moto 68000 based while the 800s are HP-PA based. I suspect that gcc/g++
for HP-PA can be obtained directly from FSF...
