I have a Paintjet (model 3630A) with an HP-IB interface that need to hook up to a Mac through a serial/IEEE488 converter. The manual I have doesn't explain the switch settings on the Paintjet. I need to know how to set: - baud - stop bits - address - parity My switches look like: _______ | 1 0 | A1 | 1 0 | A2 | 1 0 | A3 | 1 0 | norm | 1 0 | | 1 0 | PC8 | 1 0 | ENG |_____| If anyone has a table of switch settings they could post or e-mail me I would really appreciate it.

Check your documentation for the serial/IEEE488 converter. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Bob Campbell Some times I wish that I could stop you from campbelr@hpda.cup.hp.com talking, when I hear the silly things you say.
