zvr@ntua.gr (Alexios Zavras) inquired, among other things, if a 9000/850S could
handle a large NFS workload. Ours has 18 HP/Apollo 400t, 18 Sun Sparcstation-2,
5 SGI Personal Irises, and a bunch of other miscellaneous, less-used,
workstations which mount the users' home directories from over 3GB of disks
attached to the 850S. This is an academic outfit; it is unlikely that all of
those workstations are really hammering on the 850 at the same time. It was a
little tricky getting it working at first, but seems to run fine now. I'm the
guy who gets the complaints if there are any, and I haven't had any lately.
