[This is a repost -- it looks like the 1st try didn't get out, this time I'll avoid cross-posting] My wife is looking at an RFP that specifies a display with these characteristics: Grayscale, 16 levels of gray 19-inch monitor At least 1660 x 1200 pixels (might have been 1660 x 1280) 400 dpi resolution This sounds like it's targeting some particular piece of hardware. Does anyone know what equipment matches the description? Please reply by email; I don't subscribe to this newsgroup, and our news server probably retains articles in it for only 1/2 day. ------------------ Paul Raveling Raveling@Unify.com

This doesn't add up; 1660x1200 (or x 1280) on a 19" monitor isn't anything close to 400 dpi; 4k x 3k on a 19" is only about 300 dpi. (If it's the latter you're looking for, a company called Megascan makes a display system at this resolution, but I am not aware of any support for it by any major workstation manufacturer.
