Could someone please tell me how can I access my serial line in order to log in to another computer? The only way I was able to do it was using Kermit from a super user account, which is not acceptable. Aharon (aharon@bnl.gov)

Sounds like the permissions on the serial port weren't set correctly, which required you to be superuser to access it. Kermit itself doesn't require superuser permissions. -- This is not an official statement of The Hewlett-Packard Company. No warranty is expressed or implied.
