Hi All: I just wanted to take a minute and offer belated thanks to all those who took the time to send me information on mounting a BASIC disk under HP-UX. Many of you suggested using LIF and I was able to do what I needed using it. But Steve Taylor wins the prize for easiest solution. I suggested that if we were running the right versions of HP-UX and BASIC that we would be able to mount the BASIC disk under HP-UX as a live filesystem. We are running HP-UX 6.2 and BASIC 5.1. I'm now able to mount the BASIC disk when the HP is running HP-UX. Part one of the problem has been completed. Part two will be in another message.
