I called a Hp saleman and he wasn't very helpful. Anybody out there now the internal size of the PA-Risc chip data and instruction paths are? I.e. 8086 16 bit processor. 80386 is a 32 bit processor. The 7X0 series uses a 64 bit FPU, which is a change from the 1987 specs (PA87 vs PA89). That is why single precision and double precision are the same performance on the 700's.
