Thanks for all the replys to my original posting. I still can't get the thing to work. I fixed the # in #include and it compiled here at work. It indicates that there are command line parameters when I execute the a.out. I tried a couple different versions of the function at home with C-Power (mostly trading spaces around) but have not gotten it to respond correctly yet. I have tried it several different ways in the shell too, lots of spaces, quotes, but it still tells me there are 0 parameters passed in. I realize that I am grasping at straws, but I am begining to think I may have a defective version of C-Power. Mike Nelson ihlpg!cuda
