[comp.sys.cbm] 1541 Drive Problem

I have the opposite problem with at 1541 disk drive.  When I power up,
both red and green lights come on and never go out while the drive continues
to spin.  I have tried following a troubleshooting chart to repair it, but to
no avail.  Any help out there in net land?
