A monitor that I am using and have used for the IBM XT and the Atari
130XE/800XL computers is the C.Itoh CM1000 color monitor. It is set up for any
computer with NTSC composite video, separated video, RGB, RGBI and XRGB. Thus
it will work with either a C64 or C128 computer as well. Zenith computer
stores (aka Heathkit stores) was selling them at Christmas time for $399 here
in Vancouver WA. For the IBM XT (PC/AT also) it only will give you a CGA type
picture, it is not set up for EGA or PGA, however. Thus on the IBM it is a
poor type letter style (with blank lines thru the letters), but on a "good"
computer such as the Atari's or Commodore's, it gives excellent lettering and
graphics. If you have seen other CGA displays, you will know what I mean by
the style of letters with the lines thru them.
