Here in Denver the AM stations play the censored version. The FM
station I listen to plays the original.

<Discussion about KFOG and other AM stations playing a censored version
 of Money for Nothing>

Although this is just a guess, my 4 years in radio lead me to conjecture
that it is not so much a censored version as the 45 versus the LP version
of the song. That is a common practice. Example: Steve Miller's Jet
Airliner song, on the album (Book of Dreams), he sings about "...the
funky s--t going down in the city", while the 45/AM version of the song
refers to kicks not s--t.

It is definately:

We got to IN (accent on IN) STALL microwave ovens.
Custom kitchen delivery.
We got to move these refrigerators.
Got to move these Color T.V.s.

In Money for Nothing, Knopfler sings

"we got to install some microwave ovens"

not

"we got to install microwave ovens"

He never claims they have to install *all* microwave ovens.

Okay folks,at this rate soon the arrangement for the song on sheet
music will be put on the net.All it takes is for someone to say.
"Hey,net-readers,is that a G that the keyboardist plays in the sec-
ond bar,or an A-flat?"I mean has this conversation been a waste of
      sector and byte,or what!??

                                 Just another timely contribution
                                       to net.KateBush,
