Hi all,

Does anyone out there play HHGG ? I've been stuck in the same
place for about 6 months. My problems are:

1) How do you get into Marvin's room past the door? I suspect you
need the Common Sense Particle, but I can't get a hold of it.
2) How do you open the hatch (fix it) ?
3) How do you make the Tea Machine to work without being
nuked!
4) According to the book of HHGG, you need a flower pot
to plant all 4 of the fluffs and, in the end, travel to the
legendary planet (can't remember the name...), where a
followup game is supposed to start. Anyone know about this?

The version I have is for the C-64. A new one called Buerocracy
is coming soon, which looks good too.

Can anyone help? Thanks in advance...

*** yet another set of HHGttG spoilers follow. look out below! ***

1) You need to dislodge the common sense particle (dying in the process) to be
able to get "tea" and "no tea" to show the screening door. Look up
   "intellegence" in the guide.
2) Marvin will open the hatch for you, provided you know which tool to meet
   him with in the crawlspace.
3) You need the circuit board found in the Bugblatter Beast's lair to make the
tea dispenser work correctly. To avoid the nukes, try plugging the spare
drive into Eddie (or was it the plotter?).
4) When you (If you?) find the whale, enter and look around. Be ready to eat
   a small snack.

"Buerocracy" is for the 128 only. Sigh...
