Job Posting: Hardware/Software/VLSI Design Engineers
The Commodore Technology Group of Commodore Business

our West Chester, PA corporate engineering organization.
Commodore is a world leader in the design and manufac-
ture of home and personal computers.
The Technology Division is the source of new designs for
a broad range of computer systems and peripherals in-
cluding our Amiga, PC compatible, and C64/128 product
lines. In our exciting environment, hardware, software
and VLSI engineers work as a single team to specify and
develop new systems. Your team will be involved not
only with all the technical aspects of a new system, but
will actively contribute with world wide planning and
operating activities as these new new systems are intro-
duced.
The environment is exciting and fast paced. As a small,
entrepreneurial organization, each engineer is a signi-
ficant contributor through the actual market introduc-
tion of his new product. As a large corporation, Commo-
dore has the resources to successfully develop and mark-
et new products very quickly. Our extensive CAD resource
includes in-house PCB layout, networked VAX, SUN, and
Mentor/Apollo systems, Calma IC layout, VLSI test sys-
tems as well as a large number of Amiga and Commodore PC
systems. In addition, Commodore maintains is own com-
plete system and silicon foundry manufacturing opera-

Commodore Technology Group is situated in West Chester,
Pennsylvania, about 30 miles west of Philadelphia. The
site is within commuting distance of University of De-

Must also be able to remain calm on this, and other networks against
slings and arrows of outrageous fortune.
Must be able to lash out a good flame or two as required.
Must be able to perform unnatural acts in Las Vegas in the back of taxicabs,
and finally should be able to drink Dale under the table, although merely
keeping up would suffice.
Should have a tie.

Seriously, the only time I've worn a tie is when working in the Commodore booth at computer shows. Doesn't do to scare away too many potential customers, I guess. Strictly informal otherwise. -- George Robbins - now working for, uucp: {uunet|ihnp4|rutgers}!cbmvax!grr but no way officially representing arpa: cbmvax!grr@uunet.uu.net Commodore, Engineering Department fone: 215-431-9255 (only by moonlite)
