[comp.sys.cbm] JiffyDOS/64 Is it any good?

czei@cbdkc1.ATT.COM (Michael Czeiszperger) (12/11/87)

In January's issue of Electronic Musician, there was a quick review
of the JiffyDOS/64 firmware quickload product for the C64. It
comes as two ROM IC's and related hardware. One ROM replaces the
kernal IC on the C64 circuit board and the other ROM goes in the
disk drive. It is claimed that it speeds up disk loaded something
like 300-1000%, but it's real advantage is that it is supposedly
100% compatable with existing software.

Has anyone had any experience with this product?
