This is my first posting so please bear with me... I have a couple of questions for anybody out there... 1) In Volume 7, Issue 4 of the magazine THE TRANSACTOR, there is an article on upgrading the C128's video RAM to 64K. I am planning on doing this, but I have found out that I have a REV 9 8563 chip in my 128. Has anybody out there tried this modifcation with any other than REV 8? 2) Does anybody know of a good GCR disk editor (pure GCR code)? (I have the GCR editor that comes with SUPERKIT 1541, but it's buggy) Well...i guess that's all for now. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Geoff Seeley (seeley@dalcug) ------

You should have a REV 9 8563, that's the final revision, though it's very similar to the REV 8. Anyway, the RAM upgrade will work just dandy with any released 8563, even REV 7 (only a few of those out in the world). > Geoff Seeley > (seeley@dalcug) -- Dave Haynie Commodore-Amiga Usenet: {ihnp4|uunet|rutgers}!cbmvax!daveh "The B2000 Guy" PLINK : D-DAVE H BIX : hazy "I can't relax, 'cause I'm a Boinger!"
