In order to send underscores to the printer from C64 BASIC, I use the left arrow character, which is ASCII code 95. This translates to an underscore on most printers. However, a couple of users have STAR SG-10 printers, which actually print a left arrow. There is a character that looks like an underscore (ASCII 114, I believe), but it prints longer than the normal characters, so it messes up the spacing. Is there any character on this printer that prints as a normal size underscore? Thanks in advance. (Sorry, sfk at wucs2 - I could not reach you by mail.) My Star SG-10 manual gives the ascii code for underlining as 45. It says this causes all subsequent characters - including spaces - to be underlined. OOPS! Overlooked something. send 27 45 01 to turn it on; 27 45 00 to turn it off Betty killer!pollux!bjc
