[comp.sys.cbm] Killing those 128 interrupts!!??

nickerso@dalcsug.UUCP (Scott William Nickerson) (04/17/88)

         I have a simple(hopefully) question to ask. I am writing a
multipart machine language program for the C128. I am trying to use
the indirect bank routines as well as execute code in bank 1. The
    Programmers Reference Guide states:

"When calling a non-system bank, the user should take
neccessary precautions to ensure that interrupts (IRQ's and
NMI's) will be handled properly (or disabled beforehand)."

                                                           ...page 453

Does anyone out there know how to hold off the interrupts or
disable them while executing code in a non-system bank? I have combed
the manual but after several days of trying I have given up. Any help
    would be appreciated. Thanks.

                                              Sincerely,

                                            Scott Nickerson
