Does any one have experiance reading tapes that are written using VMS on a VAX running 4.1bsd I am interested in transfering some text (ascii) files between an vms machine in CA and our unix machin in AZ. To read or write a VMS tape under UNIX, use the ansitar utility that has been posted to net.sources a couple of times.
