[comp.sys.cbm] Proposal for comp.bin.cbm posted on news.groups

hackeron@athena.mit.edu (Harris L Gilliam) (05/18/88)

Hellooo C64 and C128 users,

Please make sure you check out news.groups and responde to the
formal proposal for a comp.binaries.cbm. It seems that there are many
who read comp.sys.cbm that want a group but we must be sure to resond
to criticisms posted in news.groups. This is the only way we can
convince people that we need a binaries and source group. It may seem
obvious to you that there is a need but there are some who disagree
and their gripes deserve to be answered. So post away and maybe we can
get a binaries. Also if this fails we might want to consider using
comp.source.misc and comp.binaries.misc as was suggested earlier. If
we can get enough volume going through there it would support our
claim for binaries and sources groups.
