[comp.sys.cbm] Game Review: Three Stoogies

--------

I went down to the local software rental store and rented "The Three
Stoogies" by Cindamawere (sp?). I don't play alot of games, but I am
very tempted to go back and but it.

The object is to save the orphanage from being foreclosed on. You do this by
taking the Stoogies though several jobs.

There is a lot of humor from the Stoogies shows. The graphics are good. The
sound includes the voices for the Stoogies. There is arcade type action and
trivia "jobs". The book that comes with it has a lot of history which helps
with the trivia. But, it doesn't give away all the answers.

The only minus is with all the graphics there is a fair amount of time spent
swapping disks. (Its copy protected, so those of you with hard disks are out
of luck.) It comes in a three "reel" set. The first reel is for booting.
The other two reels are on two sides of the second disk. So, you do have to
flip disks.

If you like the Three Stoogies, this game is worth checking out.
