[comp.sys.cbm] Core Wars for C-64?

sl144007@silver.bacs.indiana.edu (06/09/88)

Has anyone seen a core wars program for the C-64? If not, do you think
anyone would be interested if I wrote one? Any comments? Suggestions?

I would be interested in this.
I haven't written any REDCODE programs,
but I would like to try.

Let us know if/when you finish writing it.

I typed the source in a year-and-a-half ago and compiled it with
C-Power. It required a bit of editting, but nothing that a novice in
C couldn't handle.

I would send it to you, but in one of my swifter moves I erased
all of the source and left only the object files (one and a half hours
of typing down the drain -- these are the mistakes we learn from!).
It is possible to get running in an afternoon, though, so I would say
go for it...it is a fun program!
