This is a posting for a friend, also ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ I just got a Volksmodem 6480 and was wondering if anyone figured out how to program it (to dial, off hook, send carrier...) I'd like to use a color graphic terminal instead of the ASCII one they supplied with the modem. Anchor uses one of the CIA's timers to provide the timebase for the modem. The information's out there. But it's not an easy task. Re: color graphic terminal: There's tons of C/G terminals that support the 6480. I was browsing Q-LINK a few nights ago, and there were 4 or 5 C/G terminals that supported the 6480. I didn't download any of them, though, so can't tell you much more (I have a monochrome monitor here on my 128, so what use is a color terminal program?). Try your local Commodore computer club, they may know more than I. Eric -- Eric Lee Green ..!{ames,decwrl,mit-eddie,osu-cis}!killer!elg Snail Mail P.O.
