[comp.sys.cbm] Volksmodem 6480

This is a posting for a friend, also

I just got a Volksmodem 6480 and was wondering if anyone figured out how
to program it (to dial, off hook, send carrier...) I'd like to use a
color graphic terminal instead of the ASCII one they supplied with the modem.

Re: programming: Good luck. Anchor uses one of the CIA's timers to provide the
timebase for the modem.

The information's out there. But it's not an easy task.

Re: color graphic terminal: There's tons of C/G terminals that support the
6480. I was browsing Q-LINK a few nights ago, and there were 4 or 5 C/G
terminals that supported the 6480. I didn't download any of them, though, so
can't tell you much more (I have a monochrome monitor here on my 128, so what
use is a color	terminal program?).

Try your local Commodore computer club, they may know more than I.
