I'm working on writing my own C compiler for the C64. I've got the Power-C package and I have a number of gripes with it and from what I've heard of the Super-C system, I don't really want that either. So I've set out to write my own which (if ever finished 8-) will be public domain and bootstrap-able from any UNIX machine. Also, I plan on it being a full K&R featured compiler. Anyway, what I'm looking for is any complaints anyone has with Power-C or Super-C so that I can try to make up for them during the construction of mine. For example reports of missing features, inconsistancies, bad overall design, etc, can provide guidance while I'm building mine. So if you'd all be kind enough to reply (in e-mail please) with any complaints or critiques of the current compilers, I'd be in you debt. Bug reports really aren't useful unless, of course, the company that made the compiler calls it a "feature". For any hams reading... the driving force behind this is to port KA9Q's TCP/IP to a 64. Kind of the long way round, but it'll be fun.
