[comp.sys.cbm] parts for c64

I'm looking for a place to order parts for my c64 I have tryed here in Champaignbut can not find any place to get the parts without ordering in balk. I'm 
looking for 6581 SID chip. Thanks in advance .

1) It's a standard Commodore part, and your local Commodore service
center ought to be able to order it for you,

2) If your local Commodore  service center is incapable of honoring
its contracts,  Jameco Electronics also sells Commodore chips.
Call'em at (415) 592 8097, have a credit card handy. Note that they
have a minimum order of something like $20-$30 (the flyer I just
glanced at doesn't say).

I haven't order from them my self but have heard lots of good words about
them.

They advertise in BYTE.  Their summer supplement was included in the July
88 Issue.  6581 $14.95
