[comp.sys.cbm] c128 RAM expander

I'm posting this question for a friend...

Does anyone have information on what it takes to modify a c128-REV 6 board
to support the 128's RAM expander?

Question: what's it take to modify a 1700 REU to 512K

I recommend you to the relevant article in the TC128 forum on Q-Link.

Shot version: 16 (count them) 41256K DRAMS 150 or 120 ns type.
16 pin IC sockets recommended. Cut the solder trace at "j1".

It is simple, but not easy.

Every disclaimer possible (implied). And, good luck!
