I recently obtained a working copy of Q-Link, and I've run into the following problem. I'm using a "other modem with automatic dailing" at 1200. However, when Q-Link asks me to make the appropriate commands for dialing my local number, it switches into 300 baud. My modem then doesn't except my dialing comands properly. I know the modem is working properly, becuase I tested it at 300 baud with C-64 Kermit, and it dials fine. What's the problem here? What kind of modem are you using? How are the dipswitches set? QLink is so completely automated that it is hard to get it wrong. In my case I had an Avatec modem, and I had to flip the dipswitch 7 to make it work. You can call QLink (the number is on your program disk) and they will talk you through these problems. It's an 800 number. Betty .....killer!pollux!bjc
