I wanted to try and clear up some questions regarding the CBM newsletter 1. HOW IS IT DISTRIBUTED? The newsletter will be distributed via e-mail, all mailers willing. 2. DOES IT COST ANYTHING? NO. Submitting an article from time to time is appreciated however. 3. HOW DO I GET IN ON THIS? Send mail to newsletter@oswego.oswego.edu and we'll put you on the mailing list. You can submit articles the same way. Please try to provide alternate paths if you are not on the internet. 4. WHAT IS IT FOR? The newsletter was started as a way to get news out to Commodore enthusiates as well as other information not necessarily appropriate for comp.sys.cbm, such as personal backgrounds, etc. 5. IS IT MODERATED? Yes and No. It really depends on what people want at this point. We suggest you submit articles to us for moderation and distribution but hope to be able to provide everone involved with a current list of everyone involved. That way if you really want to tell everybody something, you can do it. We hope This clears things up a bit. We'll try to be in contact with new subscribers within a couple of days of getting their request. -Dave St. John and Mike Trombley Postings and requests to: UUCP: allegra!warrior\ rutgers!sunybcs\ tcgould.tn.cornell.edu!oswego!newsletter INET: newsletter@oswego.oswego.edu MAIL: Dave St. John and Mike Trombley 13A Snygg Hall SUNY-Oswego Oswego, NY 13126
