I was told by a customer support person at Accolade that 'when Commodore originally released the 128D as a replacement for the 128, the ROMs were found to be incompatible. They released newer 128D's with updated ROMs, and have not had any problems since'. Has anyone else heard this, and, if so, is there any way for me to get the newer ROMs? The statement was made in response to a problem I'm having while running one of their games in 64 mode. It appears to misread the joystick in certain parts of the game. I will post a summary of any mail responses I get, since I don't want to spread any rumors about the machine. I have owned it for quite a while now, and this is the first problem I've had. Other games work perfectly.
