About a year ago I bought the NEOS mouse from NIHON electronics. I was looking for a proportional mouse (cheaper then Commodore's 1351) to use with GEOS. At home I found that the 1351 driver didn't work with this mouse. A friend of mine helped me with constructing a new GEOS input driver. We used a disassembly of the program CHEESE that came with the mouse. The new driver works fine but there is one problem: I can't use the keyboard. This is a hardware problem as it's mentioned in the manual. The cause is the fact that the 64 has one chip (the CIA) to manage both the keyboard and the joysticks. Does anyone know if there's a solution, either in hardware or in software? I'm thinking about a little switch at the mouse-plug. Please E-mail me directly since here on BITNET I have no acces to comp.sys.cbm.
