I have a friend, Rhonda Hendon, here at UGA who is interested in software (public domain or shareware, or tips on commercial software) that aids in designing half-time shows for marching bands. There is a product available for Macintosh and Apple machines that costs upwards of $400 from the University of Georgia, but that is pretty expensive.
