Greetings! I'm having problems with my Mach-128 cartridge (from Access software) and I wonder if anyone in net.land has some experience with this. When I use the cart. in 64 mode, with a 1541-formatted disk, everything works fine. Commands work, fast loader works. When used with a 1571-formatted disk, though, any program that is either partially or entirely on side B of the floppy WILL NOT LOAD with the fast loader. The commands can be active, but the fast loading routines must be disabled. As you can understand, I'm getting pretty sick of using the ancient CBM slow loading routines for my slick new 1571, and wonder if there is some sort of cure for this, that anyone knows of. If not, I'd be willing to consider buying a different fastloader cartridge, but I really dislike the idea of a cart. that dumps me into 64 mode on bootup (one of the real advantages of the Mach-128 is that the powerup mode is selectable via a switch on the cartridge.) Any suggestions or ideas would be welcome. Thanks! Jeremy B. Shepherd ("...tektronix!tessi!escargot!jbond") or just ("jbond@escargot") "Have you never wanted to do anything that was dangerous?
