 That's what I've been considering..why write what's already available? Now
comes the problem of portability..like vi's relying on curses for its screen
handling..since this would be dedicated to just one machine, we'd need to
either write the code directly or create our own '128curses.h' library file..

 Hmmm maybe through fgets? (Crying out for a C guru..I'm still learning)
 I'd love to see this get off the ground..ya never know what can show up as
a possibility these days..
