The other day, I purchased Print Shop by Broderbund, even though my configuration includes a Commodore 1526 printer. The outside of the Print Shop box clearly states (as do the directions) that the program cannot use a Commodore 1526. I had intended on trying to use an old Okidata microline 84 printer, but when I ran the software, I was amazed to find that an option for the 1526 was in the software. It turns out that the program won't work on the old Okidata, but WILL work on the 1526! And it works great! Anyway, in case anyone out there has hesitated to purchase Print Shop because they have a 1526, go ahead. Jeff Sauder sauder@aplcen.apl.jhu.edu
