Hello!
I have a little problem, and with all the net-talk about GOES
printer drivers, I thought I would throw it in the ring.
I have a CBM DWP-1101 (The LARGE and HEAVY daisy wheel
printer produced by commodore). This guy is obviously 100%
Commodore compatable. It also has a bunch of dip switches
inside to "hardware customize" it.
My Question is, Is there a driver on the GEOS (or 'Writers
Workshop' upgrade) that, with some DIP switch setting, will
allow me to dump text from GeoWrite to this thing? I would
likely use the font Commodore 10 and the mode 'DRAFT' so it
would not try to graphic-ize it. My greatest success so far
has been using 'Comm Compatable Driver' and getting all CAPS,
but at least I do get letters!!
A custom driver would be nice, but I have no way this
semester to get it to my Commodore, so a 'fudge fix' would be
appreciated. (Yes, I am a student, no I'm not using my C64
right now).
Thanx in advance!
Dave
