While I'm sure the poster had the best of intentions, the proper way to have
responded to the request for the kermit documentation wwould have been for
the poster to have MAILED it the the requester.  This is a very powerful and
underused advantange that the net has over bulletin boards.  If MANY people
need something than it's appropriate to post it.  If a relatively small
number of people need to get something, it should be mailed to them.
Consider that a posting can go to over 16,000 sites around the world!
