I have recently received a Microline 82A. I believe that it is an Okidata. I would like to use it with my C128. Does anyone have any info on the dip switches located on the rear inside circuit board? Info on the dip switches on the front pannel would also be helpful. Can anyone recommend a printer interface that would enable me to use this printer with Print Shop. Please E-mail me any info. Thanks... Bruce Masters {uunet, cmcl2}!esquire!masters uucp masters@esquire.dpw.com -- Bruce A. The main reason it's sitting is that it can't work with Print Shop -- or any other graphics programs for that matter. I can only assume that Okidata didn't learn about bit-mapped graphics until after 1983. A few years ago I noticed a little ad in the back of Byte magazine advertising a new ROM for the 82A that gave it IBM graphics printer compatibility (including graphics) and an NLQ mode. Without something like that you'll be living in the world of Text Only. >>> Dan Fandrich CdnNet: shad04@ccu.umanitoba.ca -- CdnNet: shad04@ccu.umanitoba.ca Compu$erve: 72365,306 FidoNet: Dan Fandrich at 1:153/508
