[comp.sys.cbm] Help with Kermit 2.2

kws1x@dale.acc.Virginia.EDU (Kenneth W. Smith Jr) (11/29/89)

Here is a question for the Kermit-Wizards out there. I have
Kermit 2.2 for the 64. I connect to my LAN and logon to the UNIX machine
I use at work which runs SysV. My goal is to d/l some binaries that I have
on UNIX. So far I have been successful only once.
The settings that I am required to use are:
		IBM mode on
		Parity even or mark
		baud 1200
		file-type binary
(These are for my version of Kermit, not for the UNIX)
I set the UNIX-Kermit to file type binary and then send filename.
I escape out to my kermit, type receive, and it sits there. The time I
did d/l a file was timing the incoming packets with hitting the return key
to collect them and send them to disk. What am I missing? Is there a
parameter that I am overlooking or not setting correctly?
Any help at all will be greatly appreciated!!!

Thanx in advance,

K W Smith, Jr.
