I am looking for a color printer for my C64 hoping to get a color digitizer one of these days.. What would be the best color printer i could get for say $200-$300! What are the pros and cons of each....I am presently looking at a NX1000c color printer or an Okimate 20 color printer!!!!! You input is graetly appreciated!!! I don't think, personally that a digitizer for the C-64 would be worth it. An Amiga (500 or 2000) however has hardware specifically designed for such things( it has a separate sound and graphics chip). The quality of the C-64 graphics for digitizing isn't real good. If you want to digitize, then you want near photographic picture quality, not crude blocks making up the picture. I'm not putting down the C-64 (I have one myself) just helping you. I don't know about this, but if you bought a camera for digitizing I guess you could use it later on an Amiga ( if you decide to upgrade) but I highly doubt that the genlock you use for the C-64 will be compatible......oh well.... --- * Via ProDoor 3.1R
