[] Does anybody out there know EXACTLY what the PAL/NTSC clock speeds are for the C64 and 1541? I'm using the following numbers as reasonable guesses: Commodore 64 1541 NTSC 1 022 725 Hz 1 000 000 Hz PAL 987 000 Hz 1 000 000 Hz I'm reasonably sure about the NTSC numbers, but what about the PAL numbers? This is very important when you are trying to maintain synchronization in fast transfer routines over a period of 60-120 cycles! If you know you have accurate numbers, please send me mail! I worked out these frequencies years ago by studying the C64 schematic. I've never used a PAL C64, so I have no proof that this number is actually right, but it was arrived at in the same way as the NTSC number, which seems right.
