I have a good copy of Kermit. I know, since I bought it directly from Kent Sullivan and the program works on his C-128. On my C-64 it does not work. All peripherals except for the monitor and disk drive have been removed. The disk drive timing has been checked and other commercial programs load correctly. The program appears to load correctly. When started, the screen clears and then there is no further activity. By doing a memory scan the kermit prompt appears to be written to to be relocated screen memory. I believe this symptom has been sed previously and was traced to a ROM bug in early C-64's. If anyone has any information on this problem please post or mail.
